Although she hasn't announced it to the interwebs yet, my sister is having a baby girl in September. I keep thinking about the fact that our daughters will only be 8 months apart. Geographically though, they will be about 8,654 miles apart.
I hope that our girls can grow up knowing each other and loving each other the way that my sister and I did. We were so close in age (15 months), and we often tell each other how no one else in the world understands what life was like in our family more than we do. It's nice to have someone share the same perspective as you, especially when you come from a broken home.
I sure do hope that our daughters can share some fun memories as they grow and that we'll be able to catch some cool pictures like these:
| Dad's Chuck Norris stage. |
| Care Bear Roller Skates!!! |
| Sunning in Saudi with Memaw (she's 95 now!!) |
| Who doesn't have a picture with their stuffed animals? Apparently I was trying to blend in. |
My sister and I have been through a lot together and I am sad that I won't make it down to Auckland to be at the birth of her daughter. Being there for her son's birth was one of the most awesome experiences of my life. And, two days shy of one year later, she was with me when my daughter was born.

GOOD LUCK to you, sissy! I'm counting down the days!! I love you so much and can't wait to share more life experiences together, with our husbands and children!
